With over a decade of experience and training in site selection, demographic study, market analysis, and finance and investment analysis, Tim employs a comprehensive and methodic approach to commercial real estate brokerage in Harrisonburg, Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley.

Tim specializes in investment property (multifamily | commercial | NNN), retail/restaurant site selection, and general commercial representation and has worked with national brands – such as Pizza Hut, 7-Eleven, Fire House Subs, Cook Out, Adams & Garth, Zaxby’s and OfficeMax — providing  tenant/landlord representation and purchaser/seller representation services, including site identification, lease and purchase negotiations, and net lease investment analysis. In 2012, Tim was among the top 5% of agents in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham MLS and in the top 1% for commercial transactions.

Tim’s educational background reflects his commitment to better serving his clients by advancing his understanding of real estate, finance, and economics. He completed training from the Appraisal Institute and is completing his Master’s in Real Estate Finance and Analysis through Florida State University. Tim’s background in commercial real estate finance and analysis allows him to put the industry’s cutting-edge analytical tools to work for his clients by providing thorough market evaluations and real property appraisals.

Before joining Cottonwood, Tim served as the Director for the City of Buena Vista and in similar positions in Broadway and New Market. This experience provided Tim with a comprehensive understanding of the economic and social factors that impact business and consumer decision-making, as well as a background in market analysis and consumer behavioral studies.

As Broadway native and proud resident– where he resides with his wife Andrea — Tim possesses an inherent familiarity with commercial real estate markets and trends in the Shenandoah Valley.

Tim is also an active investor in the regional market; this experience allows him to conduct analyses that derive from both theory and practice. His hands-on knowledge of local market trends allows him to better assess offerings, provide financial modeling, and clearly communicate information to help clients reach their financial goals.
